What was your major learning from the week in competitive advantage and IT?
I learned how important it is to always have a competitive advantage. Porter's strategy is a new concept to me, and Competitive advantage is the leverage a business has over its competitors.
What was your major struggle from the week in competitive advantage and IT?
I think my major challenge was to make sense of Porter's Generic Strategies and where it fits in with IT. I was somewhat apprehensive and concerned and decided to take the time to fully understand the concepts of this module.
How does what you have learned about, in either of the two topics, affect the way you manage information systems in your business context?
It equipped me with tools to perform Information System Management tasks with objectivity. It will provide me with s sound foundation when it comes to making decisions that will affect the existence of the company.
